Burn Ban Enacted

Lee County has enacted a burn ban for unincorporated Lee County and municipalities effective immediately due to increasingly dry conditions throughout Southwest Florida. The county’s ordinance bans “outdoor burning ignition sources,” including campfires, bonfires and trash burning. Grills for food are not included. |

Updates to UMR provider search and cost estimator experiences now live
06/17/25 - Palm Beach County Fire Fighters Employee Benefits Fund Plan members can now access an enhanced UnitedHealth Choice Plus Network online directory experience on umr.com. The Provider Search Experience (PSX) and Cost Estimation Experience (CEX) replaces the previous Find Price and Care tool (FPC) for registered members. |

Akumin Agreement Termination

Set a secure admin password

Click the User Settings button from the home page, then scroll down to the bottom of the page. You will see a password field. Delete the current password and enter in your own private password. |

2025 Benefit Increase
02/26/25 - PBC Firefighters Retirement Insurance Fund The Board of Trustees met on February 7, 2025, and approved an increase in benefits for all retirees—past, present, and future—effective January 1, 2025. This enhancement will provide an additional three hundred dollars ($300.00) per month to retirees. Additionally, the Board has approved another increase of the same amount ($300.00 per month) for 2026. |
